En route visit Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers and Lamayuru Monastery.

Drive through the beautiful Suru Valley towards Rangdum.
Enjoy views of towering Himalayan peaks, remote villages and dramatic landscapes. Rangdum is one of the most scenic areas on the route towards Zanskar.

After breakfast, continue towards Padum.
Cross the spectacular Pensi La Pass and stop at the Drang Drung Glacier viewpoint, subject to road and weather conditions.
Continue towards Padum, the main town and administrative centre of Zanskar.

After breakfast, explore the beautiful surroundings of Padum.
Visit Karsha Monastery, Bardan Monastery and nearby villages. Experience the unique culture, architecture and lifestyle of the Zanskari people.
